Go hands free with a Bluetooth Cell Phone Headset.
I know that one kind of bluetooth can connect with cellphones devices and that others can send songs/ringtones through. Which is wich?
I have a mac computer, i have the bluetooth set up so both my computer and phone see each other. I made some 24 second sound clips that should work for ringtones at 32kbs but when i try to transfer it, it says ‘device claims to not accept file type. Would you like to send it anyway?’ and then when i click yes it fails. Any help?
I have a Sanyo Katana cell phone that is correctly conecting to my pc via a bluetooth device. I can not figure out how to recieve pictures or ringtones to the phone. I have not been able to find any info on the Sanyo webpage. Does anyone have any suggestions or webpages to help me??

When I use my phone along with the bluetooth headset, it will only ring with the factory ringtone (that old boring ring ring). I’ve tried to send my personalized ringtones from my phone to the bluetooth, but the phone will either say "no device found" or "unable to connect." Anyone have any tips?
I have several bluetooth ringtones on my phone from my sister, but i want to know how you get them. i mean like do i have to download something on my computer in order to get my own ringtones instead of getting them from other people.

i know how to use bluetooth to send a ringtone via bluetooth to a phone from another phone but i have a T Mobile and when i try to send some ringtones to my friend who has a SPRINT a900 and it says that it is unsupported media type and when he makes his own by trimming mp3’s and putting them on his phone using a usb cable, he can’t put them as ringtones… what format do sprint phones use as ringtones.. i personally don’t like Sprint Phones because you basically have to go to the web to download everything that they send you like pictures and other things.. sprint just wants to make money and don’t care much about the people.?? so help please.. thank you all
i have a razor from cingular and i am trying to bluetooth my ringtones to my sisters phone. but on my sounds..some of my ringtones have orange locks by them..and these ringtones wont bluetooth. what are they and how can i make them go away?

I recently purchased the SCH-a870 from verizon. It’s a prepaid phone, but it does have a bluetooth function. Everyone says that it’s only for the headset. Bluetooth is bluetooth and it should work for transfering files from phone to phone. I’ve talked to customer service and this guy even told there is ways to hack it, but obviously he wouldnt say. The help would be appreciated. I have tons of ringtones and wallpapers on my other phone and just want to transfer between the two.
There is supposed to be another way to use the bluetooth ringtones without using bitpim or anything like that.
Those are two different options and I do not know the difference. I know that some phones only allow you to play Bluetooth with headphones and I don’t want that, I want to be able to set them as ringtones and such. Which one do I want?
I have heard about people using the bluetooth on their cell phone to look through someone elses phone and take the pics and ringtones that they want. How do I use my bluetooth to do that? (Please tell me, or, give me a website that explains how)
P.S. I have cingular if that makes a difference.
