How do i get my bluetooth to work on my older computer?

II have a wireless bluetooth, i want to use it as a microphone but it does not read it on my older compiter. I have windows XP and its a 2002 model I think, DELL. Is there some kind of thing I can install so I can use my bluetooth as a mic for my computer? Please explain in English

First go to your control panel and click on bluetooth
Under options, make sure that all the boxes are checked
right click on the bluetooth icon, and select the option RECEIVE A FILE
Now send whatever it is to your computer from your mobile in the normal way
go to your control panel-> click on bluetooth…………

Does your computer have a Bluetooth adapter? if so the icon is usually in the system tray and you click add a device. If not you need to buy one for like $2
