My wife has a Bluetooth Nokia phone and her Dell computer is BT compatible. Without using a cable, we want to transfer songs and pics to her phone. I assume there is a way to make the connection. However, will we also need Nokia software to move them?

I have a Toshiba laptop and a Toshiba bluetooth adapter. I have been trying to get my Samsung earpiece (that I also use with my cell phone) to connect to the computer but to no avail…My earpiece shows up on the list of paired devices but nowhere in my control panel and when I try to search for new devices it doesn’t show up at all. What gives!? Am I missing something here?

There is a type of bluetooth technology I remember hearing about that would seamlessly transfer files between devices when the two devices were knocked together or touch. I know there are apps that do this with software on the iPhone and iPod touch but there is a hardware version too. Any ideas as to what it is called?

Bluetooth uses a frequency of 2.402-2.48GHz and uses "spread-spectrum frequency hopping", which means it chooses 79 random frequencies out of that range and hops around to any one of them 1,600 times a second in order to avoid interference from other bluetooth signals in the area doing the same thing. How does it change frequencies, and how does it do change frequencies so quickly?

I have an iphone 4 and other phones are able to find it via bluetooth, however it can never find any phones via bluetooth. Other phones are unable to connect to it though because it doesn’t realise they they are trying to connect to it. What is wrong with it? Is it broken? Are there any apps that can make the bluetooth work properly?
